Did you come up with a different number of squares each time you tried to count them? You might be wondering how this puzzle relates to sales. Here’s a few answers:

Your customer may be thinking your product’s cost or service is one number and you’re thinking another.

You never really know what the customer’s needs or budgets are unless you ask the right questions.

Don’t always assume the obvious with your customer. The answer’s not always 16, it might be 30 ---the real answer to this puzzle.

Clue—If you didn’t understand how 30 squares come out of this grid, try grouping the squares in clumps of four’s, then nine’s. And don’t forget to count the biggest square of all, the grid itself.
